Profile

Matija is a native of southern California. He received his B.A. degree from the University of California Los Angeles (1997) and his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law (2004). He is admitted to practice in California and the Court of Federal Claims. He also practices before the General Accountability Office, Civilian Board of Contract Appeals and other administrative tribunals.

Matija has an extensive business background both as owner and executive officer. With this background, Matija is able to “walk in the shoes” of a business owner. This allows him to develop strategies and billing arrangements that take business realities into consideration. He is not afraid to advise potential clients realistically regarding costs and the likelihood of success, even if that results in a potential client deciding not to pursue a matter.

Matija is a former non-commissioned officer in the United States Army.
